Solution
Audit Exoplanets app to identify user interactions and plan a comprehensive tracking strategy.
Map out key visitor interactions, select KPI variables and conversion points.
Implementing Google Tag Manager with customize events and pageview tracking.
Document the Google Tag Manager technical setup in an easy to understand format.
Created a Google Data Studio report that updates in real-time based on Google Analytics data.
Train the internal team on the Google Data Studio platform and automate reporting.
Results
JPL can now monitor visitor interactions with the app and can make informed decisions on future updates.
Truemetrics provided a technical tracking spec that explains tracking of select KPI’s such as; “How many people were imbedding apps into their site.” Also, knowing how many visitors were viewing key content like “feature planets.”
JPL now has a maintainable GTM solution that can scale in the future and adapt to new content needs.
JPL marketing and development staff are confident in sharing their reports with senior management.
